From humble beginnings...

The accountancy practice of Peter J Hallett Public Accountants derives its origins on the Yorke Peninsula and in one form or another, can be traced back approximately 50 years.

The firm has continuously held an office in Maitland SA. In recent history it was formerly known as Coleman Hallett & Associates from 1981 to 2004. The original office was situated at 53 Robert Street, Maitland. This firm consisted of Rex Coleman as Senior Partner in partnership with Peter Hallett. It ceased in June 2004 when Rex Coleman retired at the age of 75 years.

Peter Hallett has continued the practice as sole proprietor, changing the business name to its current form on July 1st 2004.

New business premises were secured in 2005 and the old office was sold. The practice moved to 27 Elizabeth St, Maitland, and continues to operate from this address.
